FBNS News Parent Letters
Buckland Newton School offers a breakfast club, each day of the school week. The sessions run from 8.00am to 8.40am. If you would like to print off a booking form then please click on the button above Buckland Newton School offers a wide range of lunchtime and after school clubs. To see a timetable of the clubs on offer this term please click the button above. The Friends of Buckland Newton School publish their own Newsletter that gives information on how they spend the money that they raise and details of their forthcoming events. Every Thursday the school publishes a Newsletter, if you have mislaid your copy, panic not as a PDF copy of the latest newsletter can be found by clicking on the Newsletters button. Every now and again the school sends out letters to parents, concerning forthcoming trips or events. Clicking on the above button will allow you to view letters that may have been mislaid.

The latest OfSTED inspection was carried out in February 2017.
The inspector stated that Buckland Newton  "is a caring school that supports, and nurtures its learners in a stimulating and thriving environment." To read the full report please click the button above.
The latest SIAS inspection was carried out in July 2012. The report states that 'Buckland Newton Primary School is a highly effective church school. Behaviour is excellent, standards are high, every child is valued and all aspects of school life are based on the Christian values of love, care and respect.' Dorset County Council provide an information page on their website that lets you know if due to adverse conditions a school is closed. To access this page please click on the the button above. Clicking on the button above will take you to the Dorset County Council's webpage on School Transport. It gives information about their transport policy and how to apply for the school bus service. Admissions to our school is administered by Dorset County Council If you would like more information on the admissions policy and how to apply for a place, then please click on the button above. Pupil Premium Funding is additional money given by the government. If you would like to see how Buckland Newton School allocates the money that is given, then please click on the button above. The Government has allocated every school a certain amount of money that can only be used to develop sports within the school. Clicking on the above button will give you information on how our school has spent its money. Chartwells is the provider of school lunches to our school.
