The whole school headed off to The Gaggle of Geese – the delightful village and destination pub (excellent menu and wonderful hospitality!) – for a festive lunch. Despite torrential rain and wild winds, we pulled on our Christmas jumpers, festive headgear and had such a lovely time. We yanked our crackers, argued over who won the toy, joke and paper hat but most importantly, enjoyed a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and a huge dessert of ice-cream, chocolate sauce and delicious wafers. Father Christmas was even there to greet us on arrival. Thank you so much to Simon and Sarah Colquhoun and their staff for their efforts. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious! We are privileged to be part of such a wonderful community.
