Christmas 2016

As ever at Buckland Newton School it has been a hectic run up to the Christmas Holidays. As you can see from the photographs below the children and adults have been very busy in all sorts of ways.

This year, there was a very good response to the shoebox appeal and the children really enjoy the fact that they can help bring cheer at Christmas time to people who are less fortunate than themselves.

The FBNS work hard all year round, but at Christmas they put in a lot of extra hours, running the Christmas Fair and helping to serve teas and coffee at the school performances.

Once again the children from KS1 have been creating a beautiful sculpture from ginger bread. This year it was a magnificent stable. Children from KS2 played the annual festive hat football match in glorious Autumn sunshine.

Earlier in the week the KS2 children were brilliantly entertained at the Octagon Theatre in this year's pantomime; Peter Pan.
