On Wednesday 24th April, some of our pupils took part in the annual Y3/4 Football Tournament, held at Sherborne Abbey. We have been training hard and all our efforts paid off! Our first match was against Sherborne County (eventual overall winners) and we lost 1 – nil. Our boys and girls, as always, demonstrated strength of character and teamwork as they refused to be downhearted after this close defeat but instead showed true courage as they pulled together and were entered into the Europa League! We played Trent in the final and the decider was a wonderful goal by Thomas. We won the plate! What an excellent effort – we are very proud of their performance. Thanks to Mrs Yeatman, Mrs Durston and Mr Simmons for their ongoing hard work.
