Uniform

Uniform

The children wear school uniform to give a sense of belonging and to raise community awareness. It is intended to be smart, distinctive and versatile.

The royal blue sweatshirt/sweatshirt cardigan with logo and the royal blue polo shirt with logo can be purchased through the school office. However we are happy for children to wear a plain royal blue polo shirt.

The school also holds a supply of second hand uniform that can be bought at a very reasonable price. Please contact Mrs Holgate in the office to purchase this.

Our policy on school uniform is based on the notion that school uniform:

•                         Promotes a sense of pride in the school.

•                         Engenders a sense of community and belonging towards the school.

•                         Is practical and smart.

•                         Identifies the children with the school.

•                         Makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance.

•                         Is regarded as suitable wear for school and good value for money.

•                         Is designed with health and safety in mind.

All clothing should be clearly labelled with your child’s name. This is especially important, as uniform items look similar and can easily be confused for another child’s. The school cannot accept responsibility for any lost items.

Our list of school uniform is for either boys or girls and families are welcome to choose items from the list below:
